We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this beautiful cottage in Cornwall. From the moment we arrived, everything felt welcoming, peaceful, and immaculately cared for. The cottage itself was spotless, cosy, with thoughtful touches throughout that made it feel like a true home away from home.

One of the biggest highlights for us was how dog-friendly the property was. The large 1.8 metre secure fence around the cottage gave us complete peace of mind and allowed our dogs to enjoy the outdoor space safely and freely. It’s rare to find somewhere that genuinely welcomes dogs so warmly, and it made such a difference to our stay.

The location was perfect — quiet and relaxing, yet close enough to explore the stunning Cornish coastline, charming villages, and local pubs.

The hosts were clearly passionate about making guests feel comfortable.

We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay and would return in a heartbeat. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a peaceful, dog-friendly, and memorable Cornwall getaway.

Another return stay at this high quality accommodation. The house is extremely clean, comfortable and very well equipped with virtually everything you could possibly need for a wonderful holiday. The garden is such an amazing space for the dog to enjoy safely. The surrounding area is so peaceful with lovely beaches and countryside. Easy access to a wide area of Cornwall and Devon.

We had a really relaxing stay with amenities not too far away at Boscastle, with good restaurants and walks.

The cottage was clean and welcoming when we arrived. We have 2 Dachshunds miniatures that are normally escape artists but there was no way of them escaping anywhere. The garden was a bonus as we like to spend time with our fur babies in the garden playing.

The cottage had everything you needed if wanted to relax and have a night in after a long day of walkies and beach days.

Would highly recommend this cottage as a place to rent.

Well. What a brilliant week we’ve just had at Anneth Lowen. Absolutely superb accommodation, spotlessly clean, and everything in great condition. I often cook while away and the kitchen was a dream, sharp knives (bliss!) and all appliances absolutely brilliant. Beds were very comfortable & lovely duvets (I didn’t want to get up on several mornings) - and the electric showers were the best we’ve used in a holiday rental, again, everything just what you need when away.

The secure dog garden was exactly what we needed as our first holiday away with one of our dogs, they both played outside to their hearts content & we were able to relax, knowing they couldn’t get out & go on their own adventures! It was also great with the back wire fence as you can look out over the fields when on the grass (I spent time out there on a blanket reading a book in the sunshine as the lawn is amazingly soft!)

It was really easy to book online and Gary sent all info over in advance & was very responsive for any issues or queries, which was much appreciated.

We’ll definitely be back, Anneth Lowen has everything you need for a relaxing, warm (if needed) and quiet week away to unwind and relax. Whilst is quite high up in Cornwall itself, you can get to a small beach easily within 10-15 mins (Trebarwith Strand) and further afield is simple as close to main roads & local towns to explore both in Cornwall and Devon with Bude 25mins away. We also used a couple of secure dog fields which were pretty close by, another bonus. I highly recommend for dog owners and those without, it’s a gem.

Really well appointed bungalow just a couple of minutes from the A39 with easy access to Bude, Camelford, Bodmin, Wadebridge and surrounding area. Directions to arrive were easy to follow. Large enclosed garden was perfect for our two four legged friends. Very modern kitchen with everything you could want - only observation was an absence of a large saucepan which was really no major issue but would prevent pot cooking. Wi-Fi was slightly strange with strange limitations preventing access to some websites plus Disney and Apple TV, but again not a major issue. Bungalow was clean, comfortable and welcoming. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would return if planning to revisit the area.

This is our third vist and we always have a perfect time. The accommodation is top standard and always very clean, warm and well equipped. The location is great for visiting much of north Devon and Cornwall. The off street parking is great just because I hate to have to ‘fight’ for parking spaces, and the dog loves the garden. The village is very quiet, which we love, and the Horseshoe Inn is very welcoming just down the road.

The bungalow its self is really nice. It has a really big and private garden and lots of parking space.

The kitchen has everything you could need and is all high quality.

The shower is very good but the beds are quite small and not as comfy as we would like (to firm for us)

The pillows are also flat and we struggled to sleep (bring your own pillow)

We also found the local pub to be quite basic and old worldly. They only had one draft lager and it wasn’t nice. The food was ok but very basic. We only went once all week which was a disappointment.

Getting around was a drive to the beaches but you are central to a lot of different areas.

On the whole we had a lovely week and Gary was great to deal with.

This was our second visit to Anneth Lowen and we all thoroughly enjoyed our stay there. The bungalow is very well equipped and has a very homely feel about it. It’s situated in a quiet village probably about 20 minutes drive from Bude and 10 minutes from Boscastle. The host is very helpful and we would recommend the bungalow and definitely stay here again.

Our second visit to lovely Anneth Lowen, it was immaculate, everything you could want from a home from home. So peaceful, close to Boscastle and Tintagel, a great little shop and post office nearby and also a Farm Shop and cafe 5 mins away. I great place if you have dogs too, the huge enclosed garden is excellent. I really do recommend it to anyone wanting a relaxed, not too far out of the way stay. We will definitely be returning. Gary is great host.

A perfect rural and quiet retreat especially for dog lovers.

Fantastic enclosed garden for our furbabies with no worries about them getting out , not far from beaches and brilliant dog walks around the local area.

Lovely and clean bungalow, plenty of space and don't want for anything.

Our crew certainly enjoyed themselves and have asked if we can go back again

A must place to visit, you definitely won't be disappointed

Anne,

This is a great place, in a quiet village about 3 miles from Boscastle. It was clean and has great parking as I had a van that can be hard to park at some properties. Suited my needs for a mid week work trip.

Our Dog loved the garden to play in with his ball. The area is very quiet but near enough to visit Boscastle,Tintangel,Bude,Port Isaac and Padstow which we did. The local pub did tasty pub meals and Boscatle Farm shop did a very nice Cornish breakfasts.

Your property is beautiful and it was an absolute pleasure to stay there. The kitchen tiles are so pretty and the rest of the decor is fabulous, especially the reading chairs. Everything was perfect.

Excellent! Situated in lovely quiet village/hamlet within easy reach of the A39 so well connected to many places, only 15-20 mins from Boscastle. Private parking with plenty of room. Spotlessly clean throughout, with a well equipped modern kitchen. Open plan, bright and cheerful living area with top spec lighting, a lovely place to relax. Both bathrooms were also immaculate, loved the shower (don't forget to take towels and tea towels like I did). The bedrooms had lots of storage and the beds were so comfortable. The garden is huge, plenty of room for kids and dogs to run around and a lovely space to sit in the sun, so quiet, the only sound was birdsong, no noise from traffic or neighbours apart from the odd moo of the cows at the farm down the way. Gary the owner contacted us on the evening of our arrival to welcome us and make sure we had everything we needed, very friendly and conscientious. We will definitely be back and would highly recommend Anneth Lowen.

This was absolutely the best holiday cottage I have stayed at. The owners were very helpful and friendly. It was equipped to the highest standard, very clean and comfortable and relaxing. The garden was safe and just perfect for my dog who spent a lot of time playing out there. The area was super quiet and peaceful, very close to the beach and with easy access to the A39 for travelling to lots of parts of Cornwall and Devon easily. There was one pub in the hamlet and also a small convenience shop not too far away. The local farm shop sold amazing pasties and was busy for eat in food so probably best to book a table. I would recommend this property to anyone.

Fabulous stay in this beautiful bungalow. It is ideally located for exploring Northern Cornwall & is probably the best equipped holiday let we have ever stayed in. There was nothing that wasn't provided in the kitchen that we needed, which is very unusual & 2 or 3 of most things such as jugs, sieves, again very unusual. The owner was extremely helpful when we had to change our booking by a couple of days at the very last minute due to travel difficulties & also extremely responsive over a couple of very minor issues, sorted immediately. Can't recommend this property enough
